That is the same sensor I have. I'm sure it would just as well. Jury is still out on this camera till I get more time at it. Looking forward to trying the moon, and getting some HD video of jupiter and stack. As for the sens-up, forget about it. Just forget it even has it. It is useless for our purposes. 8x sens up on these cameras is about 1/60 sec for the samsungs. Also ACG on these cameras produces bad noise. These will not work with DSO's. Where I hope these cameras will work is for lunar and HD stacking for planetary.

Got the HD grabber today, good news is records fantastic video, bad news is its not compatible with NSN. I can use webcammax to broadcast the HD grabber window, but it is limited to 640x480. Oh No, how do we broadcast in HD then?

Hemmi have you tested out the HD resolution options on NSN yet?
I had been using the HD options for a while (like my last 4 broadcasts so like 1-2 months) and they worked fine. However for some reason my last broadcast i was forced to use the standard ones otherwise i would just get a grey screen. I tried messing about with the flash settings but couldnt get it working....dunno what the deal is.

So will this be 1080P on NSN? No idea 1080P will even work with NSN, but we will see! The options are there, so maybe. I think the issue will be internet upload speed. I will try!

I'm broadcasting tonight, but you will surely be asleep by then with daylight savings and all. But I will be broadcasting my newly upgraded Mallincam. I can turn back on the HD cam on NSN now if you want. Just post when your available and I will start up a broadcast so you can see!

I'm still looking at the what is needed for me to set this up properly: Best camera (liking the SNB 7000) Hybrid DVR HD SDI grabber Possibly better cable - Belden specific cable for HD SDI Lot's of research to do yet and very much looking forward to seeing how this pans out on the Moon, come on Moonie!

Just remember most HD-SDI grabbers will not work with NSN. Most are designed for full frame capture using special software. The one I have is the only one I have found during my research. I ordered mine directly from the manufacturer in Taiwan as a "sample" It is a bare circuit board as shown in the link above. But it is pretty awesome, it requires no driver and will work on Windows, MAC, Linux, and Android. Only downside is the frame rate is rather low. I think its quoted at 30fps@720p and 15fps@1080p, but this is not much of an issue for live view.

What should I be looking for Lee, to get it compatible with NSN and are there any out there that would work better one you get going? Black Magic is a name that keeps popping up in research although this is expensive stuff!!

Black magic does not work with directshow or WDM from my research. Like I said, the one I have is the only one that I know will work.
