it almost a snug fit, you will have to get the focus right before cutting and you could epoxy it in

Cheers Johnno keeping an eye out for one. Would have to cut as close to the threads as possible to focus and remove the lock ring as well.

I unscrewed the adapter whats fitted to the cam and slid it up to the treads of the finder and its a snug fit there, no need to pack it, you would just have to find the right focal length before starting to cut it and epoxy it

Finally got round to adding an extension to the findercam. Here is a pic of what it looks like. I just snipped the cable between the camera and the buttons. Then added a terminal block. Then a 8m cat 5e cable. Then another terminal block. Then the other side of the camera wire. I can now control the finder settings from inside

Hi all finally got the camera attached to the finder and guess what it will not focus even with the locking ring removed. So Plan B is to mount the camera on the scope With a 25mm lens to act as the finder. The camera will be mounted on the scope ring. Will see how this goes and the FOV
