Been a minute, but finally threw the roof on, tomorrow felt and shingles, I tied down the roof with hurricane ties and toe nailed each joist.

If you guys are having problems seeing my images try this: If you click on the little thumbnail icon (that used to be a photo thumbnail) it opens up a new page which used to be the photo. If you replace ONLY the part that says 'org' with 'cc' in the address bar it will then open the image.
Example, change it like this:
FROM: postimg.org/image/sz5zg3s29/ TO: . . postimg.cc/image/sz5zg3s29/

Hello all and thanks for being patient hee hee hee, Here is the latest update on my Observatory. Finally was able to throw on the last pieces of osb on the roof, there was a small seam connecting the octagon to osb so i used about 50 dollars of Flex Tape which i might add is a very heavy duty tape that should seal those problem area's nicely, I then added asphalt felt, cut some starter strips and proceeded to shingle. Tomorrow the roof should be complete. Next on the agenda is drilling and refining my pier mount base plate. I still have to run conduit in the pier and down under the Obs to the house then finish topping off with concrete nearing 1,000lbs. Stay tuned same Bat Channel Same Bat time!!! Lol

Yes the corners were trimmed and now all ends are down with a lil help of stop leak for added protection. Next up is the ring base and sealer followed by the dome.
