Weather was horrible 90% of the night! Was just happy to get out at all tho Useful session that highlighted a few issues i need to look into. Tonight is meant to be much much better weather so fingers crossed!! Edit: Ohh and after almost 1 year of doing astronomy i finally got my first views of M42!!! Reducer wasnt on so this is at f/10. Also it was very very low on the horizon and right in the light pollution/clouds.

Hahahaha it really is not always clear! Ohh and Karl listen to this its funny.... So you know how i was saying last night on NSN my power tank must be dying as my tracking was getting really bad? Well... was nothing to do with the power tank! It was all my bad! What an idiot... Noticed when i was packing up... When i removed my reducer to look at jupiter... i didnt screw the locking nut thing on right! So later when i slewed to M42 my cables were kinda catching a bit so it was turning my camera round in the eyepiece holder as it tracked lol!!! School boy error doesnt even cover it!
