...that is all. I guess I should be working on finishing my posts for my blog for August and September. And engineering some kind of All-Sky Cam mount. *sigh*

Totally agree Rick, about the cloud.
This has been the cloudiest bunch of years I have seen in my whole life, and it's not just here but seems to be worldwide!
I have only had about 5 clear nights in the last 8 months, and the previous 2 years were much the same. It's got to come good soon. We can't stay cloudy forever!

Hi, Where I live in Tasmania and why I have my home & two observatories, was once regarded as the most cloud free site in Tasmania, when a two year study was undertaken by the university to determine where they could site their then 16' telescope for spectroscopy work. 12 miles outside of Hobart in Cambridge, on a hill top since named Mt Canopus. It became the site for the 1.04 m telescope until 2013. The new 1.3m telescope and facilities are now located one hour north of Hobart under very dark skies. However, on the question of cloudy nights, before 2000, we kept a record of the cloudy nights-infrequent, now we keep a record of the clear nights a lot less frequent. Global Warming folks whether you believe in it or not, and it is a global thing.
Regards... Shevill

I agree, Shevill... I'd like to see an analysis of the water vapor content of the atmosphere over time.
