Yeah, I've been watching Rocks broadcasts and the new hi-def camera was mighty impressive and last night I was watching him with the prototype camera which I think will be a big hit and I think its not far from being launched soon.

I watched one of Rock's broadcasts and he was having trouble with his computer to run the new camera.
He commented that his computer was a specially made high speed gaming machine with the latest and greatest Video card and yet it still had trouble keeping up with the camera. So, it sounds as if you may need a pretty powerful PC to take full advantage of the new SSI. But boy it would be worth it to get that result!!!

Hi, Working with HD-SDI at 1920x 1080p produces files in gigabytes rather than megabytes. Your ordinary analogue video camera outputs 30 megabytes per second, now start thinking in gigabytes-a whole new dimension. Challenging but easily doable with money! It's why I build my own computers to suit what they have to do. The next step up is using the Thunderbolt interface, which is 10 times faster that USB 3.0, but not many motherboards are so equipped still.
Clear skies... Shevill
