That's really strange Shevill. Jack sent my Mallincam Xtreme and all the accessories, cables etc. in one parcel from his business in Louisiana USA by USPS and it was nowhere near that much to send it. If I remember, it was about $32, and that was only 2 years ago.
If Jack reads this he can tell us how he sends cameras and what it costs, but it wasn't anywhere near $64.

USA postal charges have gone up in the past two years since they closed a great many small post offices, and the lowest price is around the $45 dollar mark. Jack sent my Mallincam SSI-L, cable adaptor etc by the quickest postal route and it was $58, that was just a couple of weeks ago. So It looks like the B&H in the USA at $45 is on the money. Many small item are free freight withing the US, so if Jack is reading these posts, he might have some suggestions to make?
Snow down to 600m forecast next few days as an icy blast comes through from the south!

Hi,
Their high freight charges from the USA will off kill a lot of business from OZ, a shame as the dollar is near parity. We also get charged more for the same item because we are seen as a country that can afford it. A lot has been on the news about this especially downloading music, two prices, one for the US and a higher one for Oz for the same song. Go figure!

Yes, first day of spring down here. After weeks of great weather we cannot complain, we are desperate for some rain in any form. We are close to the Antarctic and the Southern Ocean, we get an odd whale come up the Derwent River from the south so something is changing. I wioll keep you posted. Buying the MallincaM SSI-L may have been the cause??
Also got another neat little gadget will report on later.
