Frosty overnight down to zero at our place. By contrast a ripper of a day. Spent a while observing the sun, which is as bald as a billiard ball, OK a few tiny spots but virtually no surface detail to speak about either in White or Ha. I did try some movie clips of the edge prominence's using a D600 on my Baader Planetarium Solar Coronograh Mark IV. Now I have to see if I can make a small movie clip to post? Clear skies... Shevill

You are so lucky Shevill. Still cloudy and drizzling showers here. It was supposed to be a nice day I read the report about how there are practically no sunspots at the moment. It is a very quiet Sun. Wherever you put your video, just post a link to it.
