come on members lets see some posting.. it's nice having a look on the site for information into how to and why we do things in posts... our membership is growing but to make this a great site, we need members to post threads and comments..remember there is no stupid questions we all had to start somewhere.... I started three years ago a total newbie,im 46 years old and never had a telescope before then..like most that get into astronomy the lure of capturing what you have observed was strong, for me it was how can I describe the view I saw in my scope, so I got a meade lpi camera and started to capture some video,,then I got a bigger scope and a dslr and tried astrophotography but due to poor weather I wanted instant views and done a bit of research on sgl forum and asked questions about video capture,,i learned a lot in a short time. last year I wanted to help others, creating this forum to be a dedicated site for the advancement of video astronomy... if I can do all that in a short time when video astronomy was not so well known,,what can you guys achieve now,,we have some very good video astronomers on here willing to help... there is no stupid questions davy

I totally agree Davy. Come on folks, post anything, not just your sky images. If it's too cloudy to do Video Astronomy that's the perfect time to post in here Start a new thread about any subject: - Tell us what gear you use, or prefer. - Show us photos of your gear. - Let us know about good dark sky locations. - Any recommendations of filters to try. - Tell us about modifications you have made to your cameras - Give a review on a product you use - Suggest a telescope that is great for Video - Tell us about your observatory, or plans to build one - Tell us something interesting that is about any subject in Astronomy in the 'General' section - Tell us something interesting that is NON astronomy in 'THE DEN' section
