Been looking at baluns to use with Cat5 cable for my setups. There is a vast range, and differences in price and descriptions of what appears to be the same thing. What baluns are right for astro use with video/cctv cameras.

They all do the same thing and deal with all cameras. They just match the impedance and convert the unbalanced output of the camera to a balanced pair of wires then convert it back again. Just make sure the wire pair in the cat 5 is the same length to stay balanced.
They cable can be as long as you like without signal loss.

Cool, so I can get some cheap ones instead of the more expensive type. I was a bit surprised by the huge difference in prices, so I thought maybe there was a difference in performance.
