I'm broadcasting at the moment to do some tests A lovely view of the Thin Crescent Moon Test over for now, cloud has come in. If it clears later I'll try again. Here's how it looked through the thin cloud:

Ok, I have cam pic coming through Sharpcap. I have OBS showing the pic in the preview screen, but I can't see how to get a full screen image when the cam resolution is only 720 X 576 Unless I stretch the window to fit the screen
I tried a prelim broadcast, but it requires the pass key, and I'm damned if I can find it. I'm sure I saw it somewhere. I assume I have to copy it into the passkey box.

i can't get a full screen without stretching it and then you would loose some of the image. This is what it would look like if it was on Justin with a black border down the edges but i can get a full image if i use a higher res camera.

John, as we said during your broadcast you need that second monitor, then lassoo it using the tools in OBS.

Hey john...first point...that blonde looks not bad from behind Secondly in milo you can get a full screen image if you uncheck the 'Maintain aspect ratio'. It will stretch it but you wont lose any of the image.

Hello All,
Just to let you know I'll be starting up a broadcast in about 10 minutes. Testing the Mallincam Micro as a finder cam alongside the Mallincam Xtreme. If you tune in don't forget to press the follow button so you get an automatic notification whenever I go Live! And it boosts my ego

Just so you all know some of those images above are the xtreme. The 1st and the 3rd images are the micro. The 2nd and 4th are the xtreme.

Hello All,
Here are some grabs from last night’s broadcast. I was testing my new Mallincam Micro along with my Mallincam Xtreme. I bought the Micro to use as a finder camera for the Xtreme as the FOV on my main C11 scope even with the MFR-5 is very tight. In addition I only ever use my mount in Alt AZ mode so my Goto is not always good enough to hit the target dead centre. Now however, using the Micro on my Equinox ED80 with a nice wide FOV I do not need to be quite so accurate!
Anyway, I am very pleased with the Micro and it does exactly what is says on the tin! A superb camera for the money and a must buy for anyone looking for either a finder or a starter cam. As you can see from the images below it is not in the same league as the Xtreme but is did show me more than enough to get my target onto the Xtreme’s chip. It is worth noting also that the Swan and Eagle were both very low when these grabs were taken. They were literally just above the neighbour’s roof and at one point we were viewing the Swan through a tree!! I say this as I know with better conditions this camera would be even better! As for last night’s broadcast, I would like to say thanks to both Carl and Lee for joining me and helping to make the show that much more interesting. Thanks to Lee for suggesting the Swan and Eagle as I’d never tried these before and did not think I’d have much joy with them. How wrong was I, the views were spectacular! I’d also like to say a special thanks to Rock Mallin who made a surprise appearance and helped me with the Micro settings. Rock has always been happy to help and supports all his customers like no other supplier. Absolutely first class products backed up by incredible customer support so once again, thank you Rock!
To conclude, I really enjoyed the broadcast and support from the guys, I love the new Micro and I can’t wait for the next clear night!!
Eagle - Xtreme on C11 14-28 seconds
Swan - Xtreme on C11 14-28 seconds
Swan - Micro on Equinox
Swan - DVR View Xtreme Lower Left - Micro Upper Right
M53 - DVR View Xtreme Lower Left - Micro Upper Right
M13 - Micro on Equinox

Basically I have two outputs from the DVR, VGA goes to a monitor and the analogue goes to the Dazzle. When I broadcast I simply select the Dazzle from a list of sources I can select from inside X Split.

Hi Davy like Karl i always use the DVR to broadcast no problems. The DVR has 2 outputs.
1: BNC (I use a bnc to rca connector and a RCA cable straight to the grabber)I then select the grabber in Miloslick, Then setup OBS to capture miloslick window. So the only program using the grabber is milo. 2: VGA(monitor output) (I use a converter box thing then a RCA cable to the TV)
