Thought I would start a thread for images produced by the pd camera. A few of mine. Top is Orion at f5, next Orion at f10 and Jupiter at f20. All taken with a C11 mounted on a cgem.

Great results Laurie. Good to see the difference in f5 and f10 on the same object

Lovely pics Laurie! What integration times where used for these? Im guessing lower for Jupiter? The two Orion shots were agc low and either 64x or 128x for the f5 shot and 128x or 256x for the f10. I set the gamma at about mid way. The f20 Jupiter was agc low and 1/50 sec, sense up off, gamma 0.7 ish. The f10 Jupiter, below, was agc off, 1/50 sec, sense up off, gamma 1. Hi Johnno, I think working at f10 on most deep sky objects would be difficult but Orion is a bit of a special case being so bright, relatively speaking

Excellent thanks Laurie that really helps get a rough idea of what settings to use for these targets Can i ask what the result looked like if using x1024 on orion? Its very impressive the detail that you brought out using only x64!! Wish i was rich and could go out and buy a new house just for a view of Orion neb

Wish i was rich and could go out and buy a new house just for a view of Orion neb I didn't try going that long Chris so not sure, think it would be o.t.t at x1024, Its a balance between not blowing out the brighter parts and still seeing the other parts of the neb.
