Hi Members, Thanks to Johno, he has twigged what is going on when some members try to access links I post on the group to my various Picasa albums. It often takes you to a Google version, which is just a page full of images with no details. However, the trick is to get onto the Picasa web albums, so at the top of the 'Google" version there is in yellow highlight where it says ' "click" here to go back to Picasa web albums" it will then take you to the correct place and you will be able to see the details under each image. I always post details with an image, without such details the picture is not the help it is intended to be. I have a wide range of astronomy albums/topics on my Picasa site, which members are free to browse at will, the albums with information are there to help people, and they have taken years to work up and post online as a resource. I love testing and trying new things so there is a lot more than just Video Astronomy. My www.shevillmathers.id.au also takes you to another site 'Southern Cross Observatory', with links both to many projects and link to my Picasa Web albums. There is far too much work involved to start over with another we hosting program. Google Picasa is a free image editing, storage, and automatic web uploading service, whcih I have used since it came out so many years ago. For those new to this, it is a great and free system to use. Clear skies... Shevill

Yep good shout John. That's exactly what I was seeing too. Im on v10 internet explorer. Shevill its a truly outstanding collection of work you have! The fact that you spend so much time documenting everything for others to see and learn from is amazing! And very helpful to clueless people like me! So thanks for that! Ive got a google account for youtube I think I will try Picasa out. Was thinking of getting one of these flickr things but might be easier with picasa.

Thank you for your kind comments, it is indeed a huge amount of work and a reference for anyone getting into astrophotography.
I would highly recommend anyone using Picasa, it is quick & easy to use, does a super job on images with a one click on any function, plus it is a very nice integrated all in one package which does so much. Best of all it is FREE
I use Google for everything, I do not use IE or any Microsoft Internet/mail products, there are just too many advantages to using Gmail, Picasa, Google Search etc. Believe me I have tried and used all the others but always found something lacking.
My website www.shevillmathers.id.au cost me peanuts every two years from via ENETICA and is excellent value too.
Clear skies... Shevill
