Hi, set AGC to low and shutter to manual. Then click on shutter and exposure try 1/700 then adjust up or down. Hope that helps.

Hi Carl. Thanks for the help with the settings. These are what I have at the moment but I believe these are for DSO's. LENS Dc EXP 32 SHUTTER Esc AGC High SENSUP Auto set to limit 512 W BAL Man SSDR On B/LIGHT Off SSNR3 On D/NIGHT Colour
I am not really sure if these are right also.
Thanks. Colin.

Yep you can use the sense up that way. I would keep the AGC low at first as it can cause problems unless you are in a dark site.
For colour (white balance) if you have removed the ir filter use a lens or the scope during the day and adjust the colour until it looks natural.
For sennseup or shutter even x2 would whitewash the moon or planets. Speed should be 1/100 _ 1/700.
For focus if the moons not out, pick a bright star and focus at sense up x32, any higher and you have to wait each time before adjusting.

Thanks. Colin. Haha i think you've been listening to Karl! He loves to use the setting this way too Whatever works...works i guess But i thinks its a more complicated way of doing it mate. Heres how i use the settings: LENS = MANUAL SHUTTER = MANUAL....Then whatever is required for the object... DSO = x512, Moon and planets are all under 1/50 unless battling with clouds AGC = LOW (unless dark skies with little LP and no clouds then high can be used) SENSUP = OFF W BAL = Cant remember... but using a cheap cctv lens during the day its easy to manually get it right SSDR = ON (set around halfway i think its 1-15 so around 7 or 8) B/LIGHT = OFF SSNR3 = ON (Set around halfway just like SSDR) D/NIGHT = COLOUR But as i said whatever works works Just have a play around. And if you dont have a controller for it...get one now! Its like buying a whole new camera...it makes such a big difference in my opinion.
