As post says got a shot on scope tonight..been long awaited clear sky over brigadoon , Scotland. .done a ha ha thats close enough 3 star alignment and tracked the moon..very pleased to see you old man its been a while. .so it was the ed80 and Phil dyer camera with filter and a flip mirror good view on eyepiece. .contrasting views between cctv dvr monitor and base station monitor. .cvtv monitor image looked a bit harsh while computer monitor was softer. .bit of uneven seeing so snapshop images a bit poor mars was a distant blur not much going on..still it was a night on scope ..

Well done Davy. that little fix will keep you happy for another couple of days.
I watched the eclipse on Bobster's 'Cosmic Obsession' Channel. I started watching at 6.30am and finished watching from work at 10.30am. he had the clearest weather and a fantastic broadcast. Viewers reached 247 at one point. I think half the world was watching and all were saying it was the best views on the net. Even better than the Slooh and Nasa feeds. Lots of UK folks onboard and many newcomers who got wind of the broadcast. It was a great event with fab views of the red moon. shame you missed it.
