I feel your pain Carl. Ours is about to end soon on Sunday, 6 April One of the biggest problems with DST is showing kids the sky at Club nights or any public outreach event. By the time it's dark enough, they have to go home to bed. Junior members and kids only really have the months of Normal time each year to do this hobby and many lose interest after months and months of nothing here in Australia it doesn't get dark until 10pm - 10:30pm during Summer, so people don't even bother turning up to public nights.

Every cloud has a silver lining Carl. What I miss in night time activity, I gain in solar activity. So for me, all is not lost.

And I have to use another date on my hand controller than the real change over date. When my hand controller was programmed (back in about 2005) the changeover date was different. I fall for that every year. I change it in the Hand Controller and my Goto's never work properly, and then a few days later I remember to wait about another 2 weeks before changing to 'No' for DST.

If I had a pound Ken for every time I've done this or got the months and days the wrong way round I'd be very rich indeed! I'm not alone at least
