That's odd John.
Manycam and WebcamMax pick up everything attached including built-in webcams. Go to the list of camera and try them all. You may find your camera listed under it's Video Grabbers name.

That's whats comes up. I wonder if I should load the software that came with the grabber? because the only thing I see in options is OEM camera.

Hi Johnno, Try the following. Connect up everything to broadcast. Connect cam to capture software so that you can view your image on screen. Start up manycam so that you have the screen shown above. Do not try to connect it to your cam. Now click the little arrow icon next to the number 1 in the little screen next to your main preview screen. In the dropdown menu, choose 'Desktop, custom area. Now drag and resize the box to cover your capture screen. click the tick symbol for OK and your image will be displayed in the Manycam window. Run NSN, log in, log in again and publish. Your Manycam window should show on NSN.

Hi guys, Chris tried what you said above and still wont work. Even trying to get a image in the preview window still comes up with the same. cant start video blah blah blah.
Also using Miloslick demo it wont fire up, and when I click on preferences the software stops responding.
other software works ok...amcap..sharpcap..wxAstro capture...gstar4.
The only thing I can think of is the grabber is not compatible, after all its a Chinese copy of easycap.
Manycam see's the camera because it comes up as OEM Device but wont display a image. I've tried it on both pc's, Desktop and laptop both win7 64bit, both i5 processers
I'll buy another grabber and try that, the one that Hemmi has seems ok and I'll go for one of them.
cheers John

Can someone point me to Jim's email. I requested a channel a long time ago, and for various reasons never used it til I tried today. Of course I am not permitted to broadcast now. I'd like to renew my subscription!

Hi all, was on testing last night as Johnno and Chris know . I started to download that Manycam and bloonin thing started to change my search engine. The question is, are any of the free programs spam free? Carl just untick the check boxes for installing google chrome or whatever it is when installing it Basically you need 3 things. Let's just pick gstar as an example. So you have gstar (or any other software), manycam and NSN. This is the chain you want: Gstar >>> connected to your grabber Manycam >>> connected to your desktop NSN >>> connected to manycam (select manycam from drop down list in NSN NOT your grabber)

I have another question on this for people that use manycam and miloslick.
If I use miloslick on its own and not broadcasting I can use some of the sliders in the program. i.e brightness/contrast and so on. But when I'm connected to NSN I cant get them sliders to work, they will move up and down but the picture does not alter. This is the way I set it up. Hopefully someone can tell me where I'm going wrong. I'm using a laptop with a 15.9 window so everything is crammed in.
1. I connect everything up. Start Miloslick and minimise it so that just the controls and the preview is showing, move it to top left of screen and connect to the video grabber. there is also a connection for manycam virtual webcam, do I select this instead of the grabber?
2.Start up Manycam. and move it to the right of the L/T screen. click on the main preview window, select desktop custom area, and size this up to the miloslick preview window, click ok. Now I have the miloslick preview screen in the manycam main window
3. Start up NSN and do all the settings in there and I'm up and broadcasting, but when I go back into Miloslick I cant alter none of the settings, same goes for the other software I use.

That sounds strange John. Could you try minimising everything except milo? So you still have manycam pointing at milo then minimise it and go into nsn select manycam and just minimise that too. Then logon to nsn using a different laptop to make sure the image is showing.
In Manycam have you tried using the 'App window' option to view miloslick? I normally select the app window or just my full monitor. Its easier than the custom area.

All sorted now, thanks Allan ,Ken, all I had to do was resize NSN web page. Excellent John. It had me totally confused as to why it wouldn't work. Sorry I lost internet connection while we were trying to sort it out. but I have a new Modem now. The old one finally died.
