More broadcasters amongst our numbers. How cool is that! Well done Johnno and Karl Thanks Ken, it was fun I must say! I have a question I'm hoping you can help with. How do you show your Milsoslick screen? Last night I selected my Dazzle video grabber which then broadcasted the view of my DVR monitor and not the pc. The DVR monitor feeds into the grabber. This is great but any enhancement I make in Miloslick on my pc will not show on my DVR monitor. Also, later on I'd like to be able to show still images just to help out if the clouds roll in or if I get asked questions about the remote setup etc. Makes the show much more interesting. Is it possible to have another capture device for this? Hope I'm making sense! Cheers Karl

Karl, I am not familiar with DVR. I've never used one.
I use only the Laptop desktop.
This is my connection: Feed from camera > Video Grabber > Laptop > Open Miloslick with Preview showing camera image > Open WebcamMax (or manycam) > Open NSN. Find WebcamMax (or Manycam) as your camera in NSN.
WebcamMax has a setting for 'Capture Screen' > 'Specific Area' which brings up a red outline of a rectangle. Wherever you place that rectangle on the screen whatever is inside it will show up on NSN.
Shrink it, stretch it, make it any size you like, move it around the desktop. Place it over the Miloslick Preview image or the Miloslick controls. Wherever you move the rectangle to will be what NSN sees, so you can broadcast your controls for people to see.
As far as I know Manycam does the same thing.

When in NSN I simply selected the frame grabber which in my case is the Dazzle. It is my monitor feed into the grabber so I get to show 4 images (effectively 4 channels in one) but if I just inserted the one camera into the grabber I get the same thing but 1 picture. I'll take a look tonight at Webcam Max thanks.

Hi Ken, Do you have the paid version of WebcamMax? Not sure how else to get rid of the watermark which naturally I do not want to broadcast! Cheers Karl

Many of us have been watching Rock doing a broadcast as he tests new cameras and upgrades, and he did a surprise showing of some of his new Video Astronomy products about to be released including a 12 volt LCD Field Monitor and a 0.7x Focal Reducer. Some nice gear. He also showed us around his workshop and we saw shelves full of Cameras (droool) Thanks Rock for the Tour of your workshop and the sneak preview of new products coming :DI left carl and Johnno in there drooling
