It seems odd to be posting an image as I've gradually gotten into video for visual reasons only but here's a couple of screenshots from a few days ago, the moon was just past first quarter and it was hazy but... What you see is what I saw, no image processing, no post processing, just what was on my laptop screen. I'm using a PD Camera and whilst I still need some practice at the settings there was some stuff to be seen... (Taken with a PD Colour Cam, through an 8" Reflector - hopefully its obvious what the targets were) James

Hi James great screen grabs! Jupiter is very clear. And M82 looks great what exposure settings was that? A small tip...it looks like you have the sharpness turned up a little to high on M82. I have found it can work nice on the moon and jupiter but for DSO's its best to have the sharpness down very low. (Turned off on the cam and around 10% in the software). Thats what works best for me anyway. Looking forward to seeing more pics or even a broadcast! Dont think ive ever seen one using the PD cam.

Top results James!
Yeah, posting 'Images' does seem weird when we aren't really 'Imaging' but it's good to show others exactly what you saw through your gear. That's why I post a lot of Screen Grabs, because I am trying to show people exactly what I saw 'Live'.
It is also a great way to show just how good a particular camera/scope/filter etc works.

I'm not sure what exposure - it wasn't the longest 20 second one, the next one down I think. Duly noted on the sharpness, I'll turn it down next time and see what happens James
