Thought I'd start my first thread, besides my intro, by showing a couple of my visual scopes. I also have a Meade 10" lightbridge with JMI T&T and bunch of Ep's and other kit. I plan on selling the Meade and getting a celestron SLT mount. I might use the XLT102 OTA or get a 4 or 5" Newt for. AV Attachments:

Welcome to the forum!
I use my 10" dob and I get great results. Mine has tracking though. You could always get a eq mount that will hold the 10 newt.

Hi Tim The LB I have is a truss Dob so that might be an issue with EQ mounts. Also with my back acting up too often I want to go with small and light. I get great views with the XT6. The pic above is a stock site pic, mine has been tweeked a bit.

What's the focal ratio of the XT6. My XT10g is f4.7 and I've got it done to approx f3.2 with a focal reducer. I use a SCB-2000 samsung camera.
I understand wanting to have something lighter.
There should be someone around soon that can help with mount suggestions and etc.

I would love to keep the OTA and maybe sell of the CG4 mount. I have the mount in alt-az since my viewing area is limited and I can really see polaris to align in EQ. I actually easily found M81/82 in heavy LP over a shopping mall with this scope, and never was able to see this with my dobs. The 102 cut right through the LP.

I believe the 6" is around f8. I love the LB but it doesn't get used as much as I'd like to. The 6" is basically my grab n go scope.
