Well I see it's official this is the wettest winter on record and going by the forum postings on here and sgl not a lot getting done...lets hope the the wee blue dot called earth sorts itself out and calms down a bit and world leaders take note of the big change in our climate..america in a frozen state,, ,australia in a melt down with extreme heat and the good old uk with its constant down pours and severe flooding..Iets hope the folk affected by all this can get things sorted out soon..

It seems to be getting better. I managed to set up my dual scope solar rig today and even got focussed and had a look before the clouds rolled over. I never had time to connect a camera. I have just spent 4 hrs trying to get the Starsense aligned on the ED120, but still too flippin cloudy. Such is life.

We have had clear and cloudy nights here...but man is it cold at night. The temp goes into the low 20'sF, down to the teens. The wind chill makes it even colder. I haven't had the scope out in months, and now the snow is frozen, and half ice, so clearing my pad is out until it gets warm again. cheers Rob

Amazing the difference. This has been our driest Summer in many years. The Capital city of Perth in Western Australia only had a Total of 2mm of rain all Summer!!!!! Hasn't rained here for months, except the few spits we had for 3 minutes about 2 weeks ago

Just as soon as it seemed to getting to spring weather for my part of Texas with highs in the upper 70s a front comes through and we're back in to the 30s for a low. I don't mind it one bit because the sky is clear for once. Now hopefully it'll remain that way for tonight and I get to go stargazing. :-) for clear skies And if its cloudy

Wow it's March and we just had a ice storm in southeast texas. In 31 years I don't ever remember a winter like this. I've seen it snow inches here, but not more than once in a year. We've had 4 days this winter that we've had either ice or snow or both. Im at 30° latitude.
