Hello all,
I seem to be having some issues with alignment and I can not figure it out! Normally I pick my first star in the South West and the second in the North. Always the scope slews off to the right towards the second star. Tonight and just because it is F.......g clear it is playing up and slewing to the left taking the long route. Due to cable wrap I can not allow this and as such can not align the damn thing aahhh!! Does anyone know what I might be doing wrong? Please help before I take a hammer to lot and take up base jumping or something else less stressful!

I'm not 100% sure but it may be your goto direction setting. Usually when a mount does an alignment it only slews one direction to make alignment more precise. There should be a goto direction setting in your hand controller. But I know nothing about the eq6! So its just a guess.
Try picking the North star as the first alignment star instead. Then the Southwest star second. See if that makes a difference.
