Hi all as the weather is taking its toll here is a video of the last outing with the LN300 and SW 150p. Settings were X256 sense up and a sky glow filter. The fan was not on the cam as this was a first light test. At 256 you can see whats in there

thats pretty good for a LN300 home mod Carl. Not only does it show the trapezium, but also quite a few stars around it too. This is all usually blown out.

Looks great. Every time I image m42 the trapezium is blown out at x254 using SCB-2000. What settings are you using?

Hi if I can remember, X256 Integration, AGC low, Brightness 1. Although this will be different with the Sammy. Its the only time I have got to play with the LN300, so still getting used to the settings.
Anything above X256 and the core is blown out.
I also think the Skyglow filter helps stop it blowing out.
