Christmas Day (actually night), and I am still trying to get the hang of iso and exposure settings in this Canon 6d camera. It is very different to the 350d and 450d. So tonight I tried a super faint target to see what I could pull out, and finally got my first image of the Witch Head in Eridanus, which is just a fraction away from Rigel in Orion, then followed up with Horsehead and Flame Nebulas in Orion and finished of with NGC253 Sculptor Galaxy (again). I am pleased with what I got but I still need to learn the camera settings for different objects. Anyway, here's the results, all are 4 X 180 seconds stacked in Sequator: WITCH HEAD NEBULAHORSEHEAD AND FLAME NEBULASNGC253 SCULPTOR GALAXY WIDEFIELD NGC253 CROPPED

great images Ken. Your longer exposures over the last couple of years have produced some very good results
2022 has been a waste of a year for CAA for me . Finally had some clear nights but I was doing other things like drinking red wine. New Year's resolution is to pull my finger out and get some imaging done. cheers Paul
