Thanks Harry, Let's hope they get a launch this time. Nothing on the Stargazing front here either. Just rain, rain, and more rain, and we had a flood today. Can't even get up to the observatory if I wanted. The road is cut by floodwater Most of the State of Victoria is under water.

I'm still not sure why NASA is choosing to return to old fashion 'Splashdown in the Pacific Ocean' type of recovery when Space flight Private companies like Elon Musk's has proven that 'on land' landings work well, and save millions of dollars and are almost instantly reusable.

The Space X landings have been very impressive. NASA have asked Space X to look into getting the Hubble Space telescope into a higher orbit, as it's orbit is steadily decaying. www.nasa.gov/feature/goddard/2022/nasa-spacex-to-study-hubble-telescope-reboost-possibility

The launch nearly didn't happen due to a hydrogen leak: - www.space.com/artemis-1-rocket-red-crew-daring-launch-pad-repair537,000 gallons of liquid hydrogen needed for launch. 10 Cubesats were also launched - The ICPS, as it's called, will continue to coast in the wake of the Orion spacecraft. It is carrying 10 small cubesats that will be released in stages on the way to the moon. Some of the small craft will study the moon or test Artemis technologies. One cubesat will deploy a solar sail to visit an asteroid. Soon there will be so much space junk up there we will struggle to see stuff!
