It's seems like this forum is abandoned, BUT! rest assured, we are still here. It appears that the weather has turned bad all over the globe. When I noticed that no-one has been posting I checked the weather in areas where most of our active members live and they have all been having crappy weather So, hopefully, when a few of us get clear skies again we should see more new posts arriving in here. Until then, it's a great time to get some equipment maintenance done.

Gidday Ken. I am just waiting for a clear night. Galaxy season will come and go before I get a chance to get outside. It could be worse. The guys in Queensland have been battered by the weather for most of the year cheers Paul

I have piggybacked the sw evoguide 50 onto the Rasa, not to use it as a guidescope but just to do a bit of wide field and put some of this equipment to use
I have 2 older laptops in the dome. Both were running very, very slowly. I replaced both hard disks with 500gig ssd cards and both laptops are running reasonably fast again. Otherwise, there has been nothing much happening on the astronomy front cheers Paul
