WOW!!!! I am really happy with this one! Thanks to a fantastic sky (forecast was for cloud and showers )I tried my new Canon 6d in the ED80 but wasn't happy with the result so I put it back into the 200mm f5 Newtonian and headed for the Tarantula Nebula. But I get bored imaging Tarantula the same way all the time so I framed it in the bottom of the image for a change so I could try grab more of the Large Magellanic Cloud Galaxy. Wowie Wowie, I sure got the Galaxy!!! Millions of stars, Nebula, Clusters, all in another Galaxy. I didn't realise this region was so fantastic to image. I'll be back in there more often So, here it is. Coma and all because I didn't want to crop it Tarantula Nebula in the Large Magellanic Cloud Saxon 200mm f5 Newt, Canon 6d (unmodified), no filters, 4 x 300 seconds, stacked in Sequator, processed in PhotoShop.
