You may have noticed that things have been quiet in here lately. It's not just here either, several of the Forums I am in have been getting maybe 1 post per week! This week was meant to be spectacular for cosmic events. - The last 2 mornings were meant to be the most exciting Meteor Shower since 1966 - Nothing happened - Tonight was meant to be the longest Lunar Eclipse in hundreds of years - we were totally clouded out! Things are bound to get better soon. I'm having Astronomy withdrawals

Yep, the weather has been crap. It has been a long cloudy winter and spring. It was cloudy until about 9pm last night then clear all night.I wasnt set up and missed the chance. Hopefully tonight will stay clear. I want to image M33. It should be just high enough at home tonight. Andromeda is on the bucket list ,but is too low for me at home.
cheers Paul
