We haven't had much clear sky lately (seems a world trend) BUT!!! 2 weeks ago we had a ripper night and I grabbed 3 frames of Trifid to test out my new CLS filter. Tonight I remembered I captured it so I stacked and processed it WOW!!! I'm impressed! It took out all the crappy light pollution even though I live in a dark town. It's surprising how much light pollution there is in the sky! Anyway, I am extremely pleased with the images I got, so I stacked the 3 frames in Sequator, and had fun in PhotoShop and got what I believe is my best Trifid shot ever. I have never been able to capture the red nebulous dust all around the sky before, but I got it this time Here it is, my best Trifid so far:(Canon 450d, f/5 150mm Reflector, SvBony CLS filter, 3 frames 600 seconds each)
