Here is my first attempt at astrophotography with kind assistance by Ken. M42 - multiple exposures stacked in EasyHDR to capture stars in the core. ED80, 450D, EasyHDR, Photoshop.

Beautiful sharp stars Mike. The colours look nice too, especially that orange giant star on the right Very good detail of the neb for a single frame!

Guiding PHD2 used for 160 seconds. Dithering option in Backyard EOS not selected. Mike.
