Few things learned from last week going mobile,, keep it simple. But still need enough tech to do a good night out in the field. Ditching the azgti mount and replacing it with the star adventurer, Got the new power pack and it will power the lattepanda, this will allow me to use backyard eos,, my focus was off and was a bit wary of my location being out myself,, but all was good. Going to stick with the Canon 600d and lens to start with,, I will control the camera via WiFi desktop from car,,. I have a dew band for the dslr lens,, so Just about ready,, another longer cable to come to power the mount and I'm good to go

Well what a crap day,, tried testing the kit with all the cables ect and it did not go well, the lattepanda kept shutting down on the power pack,, tried on another mains Adapter and still nothing,, Plan 2,, just use linx tablet instead,, lol,, windows 10 update scenario again,, would not boot up,, ended up doing a restore,, installed byeos and tight vnc,, up and running Again. Testing panda on new adapter and hdmi cable,, wouldn't boot up,, finally found a hard reset option,, got it up and running,, tested on power pack again,, cutting out,, been using 2.1amp USB adapter but not enough amps,, specs says it should be OK at 2 amps,, obviously not,, sent for 3amp adapter,, tested on mains adapter and all OK,, think the panda went into a safe mode to save damage,,

And the saga goes on, Got the 3amp usb adapter and wired to the skywatcher battery pack,, and you can probably guess the latte panda just won't boot up to home screen,, so giving it up as a bad joke now,, so plan,,, 1, 2, 3, think it may be 89,, just use my Panasonic toughbook,, its got the Software on it,, it sits on the frame of the tripod legs,, couple of bits of velcro,, and it's solid,, Downloaded tight vnc and I thought let's just test backyard eos,, And for the love of God,, some barsteward must have it in for me,, it won't load up, Put in the key and password,, and I get a message saying it can't do it, Checked help files,, corrupt password file,, downloaded a fresh install and it still won't let me in. I'm doing a system restore,, then if doesn't work it's getting embedded in the grass verge outside flat,, four flights up,, it's no going to be pretty.
For sale,,, telescope equipment 😂
