No compressor on one I bought,, I'm too heavy for inflatable friendsπ Too many hobbies these days,, keeping it simple these days,,, well almost π. Great seeing you back on mate,,, all the hype about comet neowise brought you back to the fold, Or just in to see what dust collectors I've bought π

First night out doing mobile astronomy,, went to palacerigg country park on outskirts of cumbernauld,, it's the other side of the hill I see from flat,, I parked up in a disabled space,, was the best vantage point from imaging North West, didn't want to be far from car,, first time up there at night and didn't want to scare folk living there, Local police did a drive by and went round the site,, fair do to them,, seen I was doing astronomy and left me to it,, Probably didn't want bored π. Was a half hearted go to test the place out,, not too bad as a dark site,, was pretty quiet after 11.30pm,, Only had azgti wedge and dslr,, 309mm lens,, just done some ap,, not a clue how it went and not really caring as it was so bloody good just to get out,, solitude and silence was brilliant,,, true astronomy,, but it would be good to get a few folk up there with scopes

So it was the skywatcher branded one that came.. All charged up π
So I'm not far off for portable kit trials,, Saturday night was a good trial run to work out my best options and being very anti social,, staying in like kermit the hermit as Carol calls me,, I have a few options in that department. Azgti was my first choice,, but I found that in your lonesome, you want a quick and easy system. So will change to the star adventurer,, the azgti tripod legs are crap,, let's be honest,, so I've brought my new video tripod into the equation,, much better,, Next thing I learned on Saturday night,, trying to focus a dslr and lens was a bit of bother for me,, Soloution to this is run my lattepanda from power pack and tether to dslr,, the panda has backyard eos on it and,, I will tether it to my 10" linx laptop /tablet and control it from the car,, Waiting on a few cables and good to go
