Big rig just about complete now,, bit of a tidy up cables wise,, New manual five position wheel arrived vvia the obligatory slow boat from china,, one I have threads are as rough as a badgers bum,, so for £40 wasn't messing around,, had to 3d print a spacer washer,, 48mm with 42mm centre and 1.5mm thick,,, 6 minutes,, brilliant no waiting around for one to come from an Astro shop. 😁
I have had the ha and oiii filters about a year and never used them,, so all set to give it a go,, out of curiosity. Still to get a h b filter Anybody done any narrow band

Same here Davy,I have had a H alpha and O111 for about a year and never used them.So no experience at all. I have been using the IR pass filters on moonlit nights on the imx 432 camera without much joy so I am keen to start using the H alpha. cheers Paul

I use a faux narrowband filter for nebulae. STC duo with the asi071. But so far only for AP so far though. Must give it a go at EAA!
It's got 2x 30nm wide passbands over Ha and O3, so wider than narrow band filters. So while not as selective it lets me use a colour camera as you can split the red and green/blue pixels into Ha and O3.
I've used an asi290mm with an Ha filter for video Astro and that worked really well.
