Very Interesting.
I see the future of batteries being amazing. What now lasts for hours will last for days, and what now takes hours to charge (or in some cases 20 minutes already) wil get down to seconds.
There's a lot of storage in that little box. I believe they will also get smaller as well soon.

Davy, add up all the watts each part of your setup uses and that should help work out how long it would run for. One of our Club members,Tim, had me add up all mine in watts (cameras, mount, heaters, laptop, monitors, etc) and he used that to work out the minimum power needed for our Solar Power storage system in the Observatory. They state that it is 20100mAh (that's 20 Amp hours)

Here's a nice little unit:
116 AH, two 110v outlets (or 220-230 50hz for UK, Europe and Aus), 11 lbs. They have a little solar charger you can get for it. It's expensive though ($500 without the solar charger)

I have a comsol notebook power bank 20000mah which effectively doubles the battery time of my laptop with my RT 224 attached. It is about 5 hours worth only. They have been hard to find. Officeworks have stopped selling them .Kogan are out of stock for their equivalent product. Out in the field with my Xtreme, I didnt need a computer and power wasn't a problem. The 12v battery pack would power the scope,Xtreme and screen for as long as I needed. The CMOS cameras have created a bit of a problem for me in the field. The computer is very power hungry and flattens the 12v battery pack very quickly. The comsol power bank has an option for 12,16 and 19v and multiple attachments which fit most notebook connections. Officeworks stopped selling them because a number were faulty. I havent had a problem but admit I have only used it a few times. Paul
