HD desktop capture showing the EOS Utilities settings and use, the Astrotoaster settings and use. My usual rig on HEQ5 PRO, Skywatcher 200p f/5 Newt, Canon 650d (modded), and single unguided images of 60 seconds ISO800. Normally I shoot at 30 seconds but for galaxies I am finding they need the extra photons captured with 60 seconds. Having said that, I have also posted up on the forum some EAA videos done using Photo Gallery instead of Astrotoaster, and one of the things with PhotoGallery is a great de-noise tool ... so I hope to try out shorter 30 sec exposures at ISO1600 (rather than my usual ISO800) which should yield the same 'brightness' and therefore same processing in Astrotoaster albeit with greater noise due to them being iso1600 instead of iso800. But ... I will save off the toaster image and then try de-noising in Photo Gallery. It might be quicker that way than a single 60 sec shot?
Anyway, here's the HD desktop live at-night EAA video ...
