Day two of our Heatwave and I put my thermometer on the front flyscreen door today sheltered by the verandah and it read 46.9 !!! So much for the TV news saying the hottest place in the State of Victoria today was 45. I also took a photo of the same thermometer inside the house sitting on the piano in the lounge room. It said 32.4 I took photos of both readings because i was amazed, and it's going to be like this for the next 5 days or more Attachments:

On the plus side I hope this means clear sky and some broadcasting? I have clear sky today but cloud and rain expected tonight and for the next few days! That said I have several things to do with my set up so this gives me the opportunity get a few things done. Every cloud has a silver lining and all that jazz

Karl, the bushfire just up the road is well under control. Yesterday I had to take my son to the next town about half an hour from here and the road was closed. We stood there with the police and watched it jump across the road right in front of us. But today it is nearly extinguished. And unfortunately I won't be broadcasting because we are completely clouded in with thunderstorms all around us! It is so humid you can almost swim in the air! No Rain, just lightning in every direction and the clouds have trapped all the heat in It is still 31c degrees outside at 11pm

So what would be so wrong about a lightning broadcast Ken. Could be fun. We all do cloudcasts so this would have a bit more interest.

lol!
I did do a Video of a massive thunderstorm we had here back in December 2010. That storm Flooded our town and many others.
The damage from those floods was so severe that to this day, some businesses still haven't re-opened.
The Thunderstorm looks sped up, but the camera in my phone was running at normal speed!

We are sitting here sweating profusely, with headaches, and absolutely drained of any energy, and night after night of not being able to sleep. We are all snapping at each other and there is no relief. And we have many more days and nights of this to go yet. The Aussie Summer! So hot that not even Aussies enjoy it.

I can't stand that sort of heat, when I was in Vegas and California it was unbearable outside.
