Yes Robert, you can use your electric focuser with it, IF you are able to make a bracket and adaptor. I fit my Electric focuser to all my scopes by making brackets for all of them and adaptors for all the different size Focuser knob shafts. I just helped another club member do his last weekend. Here's one of my threads from a Forum I was in 11 years ago about one adaptor I made: www.iceinspace.com.au/forum/showthread.php?t=10782and you can see the same focuser on another one of my scopes here on a 2.7" focuser:
here on my 12" reflector: Same one here on my 120mm refractor: and here on my Meade SN10 10" Schmidt-Newtonian: and here on my ED80: etc etc. If you don't have a bracket or adaptor to fit, just make one Easy peazy

You have a nice collection of scopes and mounts there Ken! I'd love to see my modded Canon doing 30 sec shots on that 12" newt!

Yes Howie, I do tend to collect Telescopes, and mounts, and accessories, and cameras, and . . . Here's a pic of some of what I have to choose from:
Plus what is in the Observatory. I have some other scopes and mounts in my garage, and in the spare room

I must show that to my wife when she says I've got too much astro stuff. And most of it gets used too. Not just a collection to have a . . . collection. Most of the cameras get used too. The Mallincams not so much any more, but all the others are used regularly.

Ken
I have a vague memory of a photo of yours that showed a small scope (ED80?)piggy backed on a larger one where both were contolled by a single focus motor - focus knobs connected by a rubber belt?
I'd like to take a closer look at that set up if my memory is correct.
Cheers Rob
