As the old saying goes: It never rains but it pours". You know the feeling, when anything that could go wrong, does, all at the same time. Last night I was testing my new Focal reducer and ended up broadcasting with it. To start the night, my camera wouldn't send images to my Laptop! After checking the camera was on I tested all the cable connections and eventually discovered that my Easycap Video Grabber is playing up. As I touch it interference lines showed up on the monitor. I fiddled with the AV connection on it and got it working. OK, all is good. Then Miloslick stopped working. It just froze. I closed it all down and started again, but this time Miloslick refused to even start up, and then it refused to close!!! After some help from others on the net I finally got it to shut and continued on using the old Free version of Mallincam control (thanks to those of you that helped me). The Moon was washing out most views which was s pain, but then all of a sudden while doing my broadcast we had a power blackout We didn't get power back on till about 9am today it is stinking hot 35c degrees and to top it all off, a bushfire has started half an hour ago about 5 kilometres north of me
