Who had the post on the bhatinov diy job with flyscreen ?
I've already got one for my 80mm. It has 3x small holes with the grill so needs a realy bright star otherwise it's hard to see the pattern.
And I've got a new (2nd hand) 8" sct coming so I also want to make one for that.

Yeah, that was my really small one for my Canon lens. Here's the vid I made a while back showing the 80mm ED one in use ... I also made one for my 200mm ... and also how to make it. Its really important to get the mesh at 45 degrees to each other. And here's a vid which shows for any scope you really don't need the whole aperture covered for it to work ... this next video is using the ED80 one on my 150mm SCT and it works fine. I produced that vid because a guy posted on CN (I think) about how he had his camera on his hyperstar and so then he couldnt figure out how to focus nicely due to the camera and hyperstar being in the way. SO he was talking about making a split in half pivoting kind of bahtinov ... so I said he didnt need to do that and posted the vid below ... I made a better quality Canon lens one too ...

Well done Howie. But one Question if I may: Does it stop the flies getting in?

I got a BM for my 9.25 but it came as an insert under pegs next to the lens. I have to bend it to fit it in there. Hate that... easily could turn into contact with corrector lens. I'm looking for one that has pegs on the outside of the tube - like the ones for my other scopes.
Thanks for posting the videos Howie... maybe I could make one.
