I took these with the 12" Skywatcher Dob, the Ultrastar-C and an Antares 0.5x focal reducer. It made the dob f/2.87. Total focal length was 875mm. M2: 13x2s M107: 10x4s

Robert, have you done any comparisons with non stacked? Like M2 at 26s vs 13x2s?

Robert, have you done any comparisons with non stacked? Like M2 at 26s vs 13x2s? I haven't. I'm not sure my equatorial platform would track smoothly enough for a 26s exposure. It's primarily a visual platform. It's pretty finicky.

I can totally relate I was just curious what the core of M2 would have looked like comparatively. I love the crispness of the results.
