I have compiled a list of 78 verified Star Parties in North America, including at least 3 which are focused on Video Astronomy (and will have their own threads) and a couple more that are known as Video Astronomy friendly. I'm trying to figure out the best way to post them on the site and keep them updated. BBC tables are frankly a pain to deal with.

You could do it with Excel with a few steps. Open Excel and layout your data. Highlight the table and copy it into memory. Go to this site and paste the data in the top box and click "Convert" : pressbin.com/tools/excel_to_html_table/index.htmlIt'll give you a simple HTML table without all the extra stuff. Copy that text. Paste it into a program like wordpad or notepad. Use "Replace" to swap "<" for "[" and ">" for "]" Then copy that text and paste it into your post. Done.

Thanks Robert! I considered writing VBA code to export a BBCode snippit with fonts and coloring. Still may do that. I need to get back to updating the list ... we're halfway thru the year already!
