Anyone here do real time viewing with 7nm filters?

Nope, not me Nick. But I am thinking of trying a Wratten Deep Red filter. Very similar result to a 7nm HA filter. Gotta try these things just for the fun of it

Nick, I have tried some but I have more work to do.
I have found that the 7nm Ha that I use effectively quadruples (or more) my exposure times.
I had originally purchased the Mallincam SkyRaider DSm for Ha observing and pseudo imaging. What I did not appreciate at the time was that the dual-exposure design of the camera causes the camera to double its required exposure time. With challenges getting good tracking on my mount, this turns into blurred images as tracking impacts anything over 20s. Now apply the 7nm filter with its multiplicative exposure times and you can imaging that my results so far have been very poor.
I have not given up however, I just need weather to cooperate.
