Hi Folks,
Not video I know, but glad to be home after my surgery, which all went as expected. Great care & attention from all the Drs, OR staff and ward nurses. I guess being a well known ex medic in a small community like Hobart does have some benefits!
Received an email and a link from two great astronomy wizards in Portugal and an image of the first light in Ha of my just finished modified Canon 450D. It has been de-Bayered to a MONO sensor with a Peltier cooling system added. Cant get any info on the pic Shevill, but if that's what the cam can do you will be in clover for a long time. Glad you are back on the mend and have been well looked after. Take it easy.

Good to hear you are out of Hospital Shevill. Heal fast and well. Wow, that is an excellent example of what your camera can do! The filament curtain behind Horsehead is very detailed. Nice

Glad to hear everything went well and you're recovering!
I also have a 450D, but it has not yet seen first light thru one of the scopes!
