Excellent Carl. And you would have seen it in seconds! . . . while the Imagers are fiddling and adjusting their Autoguiders and waiting for their first 20 minute image to come through the pipe, so they can do that about 12 times, then takes darks, and Flats, and Bias, then spend 4 hours the next day stacking and processing their One image Yep, been there, done that. That's why I do Video now. Remember that excitement Carl. And stay 'Hooked'

Ken I have to admire the patients of an Imager, it would drive me bonkers all the waiting, I'm hooked and glad I discovered video Carl Yep, it's nice to have the instant Gratification I used to get sooooo bored doing imaging. I would set it all up, click 'Go' and walk back inside, have a shower, watch some TV, and generally stay away from the gear. That's not Astronomy in my books. At our Astro camps and Club nights, the Imagers set up, start imaging, then spend the night inside drinking coffee, telling stories etc At the end of the night, they click 'Stop', pack up and go home GIMMEE VIDEO!

That was last spring. I stacked 16 frames at x512 and used gimp for levels. At the time i had no idea what i was doing.

I wish I could afford a nice Mallincam. I'm a college student and working on a BS in Physics, so the funds are just not there.
Thanks for the comments. I cant wait until I can get back to the dark site and do some more imaging and observing.

The place I live gets really hot and humid in the summer. So I need something with cooling.
