Thats it finished now..power lead wired up..sticky pads would not hold the screen to inside of toolbox lid, so out came the epoxy..next plan will be the panning bracket with cruise function fitted in somewhere with another sammy.this array is ready for testing

Had tge array at the astronomy day out at national flight museum Scotland. .was a great day out with uncle john..the array had some teething probs..one of the utc controllers stopped working..the clouds were rolling in fast and lost the stars before we were set up..moon was out and the scb 2000 was cutting through light clouds no problem. .the dome camera was sensitive enough as well but may be better in a fixed position in a garden.. jury still out on that just now..the toolbox , screen and battery well up to the job 100% happy even if camera array not what I hope for the box can be used for eq3/2 mount and camera setup fir dark sky sites. .well worth making.davy

That's good news Davy.
What did the general public think of it? (Video Astronomy in general, and about your array).

To be honest I dont think they knew anything about video astronomy, I was told it was expensive but I explained about cctv cameras and how easy they are to use..I talked about the array and what I could be used for..was not a lot of astronomers there..was a few turned up with scopes but weather was very cloudy..
