instead of getting on with repairs to the scope, I,ve been lounging about watching the icelandic volcano from its start up on sunday, on earthquake report.com. they have a link to 2 live video cameras at the bardenbunga site on the glacier. one camera has a telephoto lens which is giving awesome views at night. there is also a photo of a helicopter silhouetted against the lava fountains, they are reckoned to be 600 feet high. meanwhile ,where is that screwdriver. john.

I was watching a program about the volcano's and the effect it had in Iceland the other night on Tv quite interesting

forget the asteroid ., have a look at the" mila " webcam on the Iceland volcano, as of 9.30 tonight it is putting out a massive river of lava. john

today's [friday] volcano news update on earthquake report has an impressive helicopter video of the fissure, it's been pumping out lava continuously for 8 weeks making the biggest lava field in the world, the previous one ,also in iceland ,in the 17th century caused a miny ice age and famine,the thames froze over. if this happened on the volcanicly active moons in this solar system, nasa would be sending up couple of sammys to look at it. the icelanders are missing a great tourist opportunity here. john.

Weather going potty in scotland just now drive from snow covered cumbernauld to wet glasgow its like two different countries. .baltic weather

Granda night on a Friday. .got a load of paperwork as well..dvla havent recieved change of ownership slip from last owner..need to sort that and one for the tax then a postal order then registered letter.
