hi folks,,probably seen it done 100 times already ..heres my 2p worth
equipment...small star screwdriver, magnetic desireable,,,easier for removing and fitting the screws.
top view of the camera..remove cross head screw on left and right.this then allows you to remove the top cover, the casing is a bit tight you may need to use a small screwdriver to prise it up gently to remove,,,,the auto iris plug socket cable is quite short so slow and smooth when parting casing.
top cover removed, you can now see the auto iris cable and top cover moved to one side now,i don't remove the auto iris plug.
on the left hand side of the camera you will see a screw top and bottom holding the front section of the camera to the main body, remove these screws.
turn the camera over and remove the small screw on bottom casing ..left hand side...turn camera back to looking at internals,,you can now remove the front casing from the main body, slow and carefull..I leave main ribbon cable on camera.
lay the front of the camera down as in the picture..on the front section you will see two black cross head screws top and bottom on the board just off center...
remove these screws firmly and carefully,,,,now remove the four screws holding the front section circuit board..lift the circuit board and the ir filter casing and ir filter should be sitting in the casing,,remove and refit circuit board and rebuild camera in reverse steps.
the small black circle plastic and seal ,green lens are the bits you remove to do the mod.
hope this helps..all mods are done at your own risk..this is only a guide on how I removed mine..davy
