I broke down and bought a Ioptron IEQ45 today. Anyone have any experience they would like to share with this mount?

If the timing had been different I might have gotten that mount. I've heard a lot of good things.
Best of luck with it, Hemmi!

Man, I would have jumped on that if it were about a month ago. I ended up buying new.

Lee
I have one as you know. You should also know it is a great mount and works very very well. There are many happy owners of the iEQ45.
The only thing I have ever noticed is the lack of factory QC on some of the mounts. If your luck is to get a non working mount the states side iOptron folks over night the repair part or have you send it to them and it all gets fixed really fast. Once you have a working one it keeps on ticking. I say this as it happened to me an one other person I know. I'm not saying they are all like that.
Mine has been almost flawless. I can't say enough good things about this mount. For the money it is hard to find anything close to better.
This is my 0.0002cents worth any who.
I pay it to you Lee for the steak at ECVAR you cooked up, and the chicken and the rest of the good grub you fancied up each day.
