So were at crunch time for ison ...do you think it will be the comet of the century or as it passes the sun will it burn up..whats your capture plan and equipment you fancy using to capture and when..

The votes still out on this one. If its near naked eye I will be throwing everything at it . This will include 130mm SLR lens for widefield and of course the scope setup. I may even attempt a time lapse which could turn out interesting. If it breaks up I will just throw stones in its general direction

Its on its way around the sun as we speak. Astronomers on the news today stated they just dont know if it will make it or not, we will have to wait and see..Its actually 4 billion years old they say, wow!

Latest reports on Ison suggest a fragment may have survived its sun encounter.
