Dont know how many folk have looked at this bit of kit and flipped by it..but I have been looking at it's spec and video reviews and this is a nifty bit of kit for starting video astronomy. .seems the older version could not be tripod mounted.new one can be. .so why would it intrest me ?? Well its a tracking mount and scope for £175.00 delivered. .now you may struggle on the 114 newt with a camera on it so ive read so the mak would be a better bet for us..now couple on a nice slim line ali express camera's shevill has highlighted and you have a not bad start up for £200.00.. Now for those who have kit why buy another combo scope mount..think of it as a wee play scope..its the mount im intrested in..ditch the scope and fit camera brackets you can mount a dslr on video mode,,nice if your into it. .but what about 2 cctv cameras with different lens's ,,now were talking business,,this mount has a cruise function, let it pan the night sky while you do other stuff..you can manually move mount and it can move to previous position at a button push..if you have a synscan v3 controller for an eq mount it can be set to az mode then you have full goto..if not then run it on stellarium via a cable.. Why not even pier mount on the garden as it's a fast set up to align . check it out..i think it has video potential. .davy..thinking outside the box again lol

If that little thing is computer controlled, you could mount a video cam with lens and cover the thing in a permanent CCTV bubble dome. Now that would be cool!
I already have a Nexstar SE mount that I plan something similar, but this is even smaller.

Thanks Davy, that is certainly a clever little mount!
Could make for a very light portable video kit.
